Was Adam's Sin Greater Than Jesus's Sacrifice
This is something that you really need to consider. We have been told by mainstream Christianity that Jesus paid the price for all of mankinds sins. Then we are told that only a small percentage will actually be saved. The others are doomed to some kind of eternal torment in a place called Hell. They reason that by saying it's because they have a choice in this lifetime to accept His "Free Gift" of salvation or reject this gift. Sounds good at first glance since it's been pounded in peoples heads for years but if you look at some verses in the bible you have to question that way of thinking.
I believed that line of thinking for way too many years and it was a great source of fear and frustration. I often questioned how could Jesus have failed to totally undo what Adam did. If he didn't they why create people subject to vanity as the bible says. We are told it's because God doesn't want robots but people that freely choose to love and serve Him so He gave us a choice to accept salvation or reject it. That sounds good until you really think about it but then it seems very unfair. We were born with a fallen nature and we are yet held
accountable for Adam's transgression unless we accept salvation in this life. Many have never heard the gospel and yet they die and this God of Love is going to send them to an Eternal Hell. So He made billions of people and 90% will roast in Hell forever. Why that would not be a God of Love that would be a monster. It's time to rethink things!
Jesus paid the price for all and took upon him the sins of the whole world. Exactly how he is going to accomplish the task of restoring all things in Him I don't claim to know all the fine details. The bible declares it is God's will that all be saved and Jesus came to fulfill his will. In this lifetime we who have been drawn by the Spirit of God have the opportunity to respond and enjoy the benefits of that salvation. The greatest benefit is the ability to actually know this loving God and creator. We don't have to wait until after our physical death to enjoy hearing his voice and become partakers of the promises that are scattered all throughout the bible. We can be delivered from a fear of death and enjoy his peace knowing and receiving his love and joy.
If you believe the bible it declares 41 times "His Mercy Endures Forever". It never says 'His Vengence Endures Forever" but that is what a Hell of eternal torment would be.
He is not like that and those who teach that are deceived by traditions of pagan origins that crept into Christianity back in around 300 AD. God will judge and disipline people but he is determined to have his will. The bible says that He will work all things according to His will. That doesn't mean you can just live like hell and get away with it. Are you kidding! Just as any good father would do that cares for the safety of his children you will be disiplined for your good and it might not be enjoyable.
Don't limit God by thinking this place we call time is the only place God can work. He isn't limited by time He created it! If you need to be corrected for your actions and brought to love after this earthly lifetime then you will be. You will come to know love and mercy and forgiveness. You will then know that the Father of Lights is greater than you have ever imagined. You will know how special you are and how treasured you are to Him.
Just think about this! If you went to a grocery store and paid the price for a case of 24 cans of soda but they only let you leave he store with 3 cans would you feel cheated and demand the whole case. I'm pretty sure you would and so would anyone with a bit of common sense. Don't you think that if Jesus paid the price for all he would demand to get all? The bible says the Earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof. It declares whether we live or die we are the Lord's.
The "Good News" is you are forgiven-you are loved-you are treasured and you will at sometime come to believe this fact. Jesus did not come to condemn you He came to save you from sins that destroy your life. He came to seek and save that which was lost. So who was lost? Adam was lost in a mindset that he was naked and afraid that God was mad at him. Adam ate of the tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil and then had a judgement mindset. Adam passed that fallen spiritual mindset onto all men by birth. God was not mad at Adam but he didn't want Adam to stay in that condition so his mindset and those in his loins (not yet born) would have to learn by experience that Father Knows Best and His Instructions Are For Our Good. In reality you were part of that many membered body that came out of Adam's loins. The bible declares in In Luke 3:38 that Adam was the Son of God. You too are Sons and Daughters of God but that fallen mindset may not have come to realize that yet.
In reality Jesus came to save his lost brother Adam! Just as Adam is a many membered body so Christ is a many membered body. You may believe you are still lost in Adam but when you awake to the salvation provided by your brother Jesus You will once again be able to enjoy the rights and privileges that are yours in the Kingdom of God. You will find once again the truth of your father's unconditional love for you that can give you true peace and joy. It's time to wake up and believe the Good News of Your Salvation found in Jesus Christ. Jesus is Saviour of the world. He wants you to know you are welcome in The Father's House and He is the Door. Gospel of John Chapter 10 vs. 9 "I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and go in and out, and find pasture.
